Post a message to your constituents ahead of the choices you will make on the House floor Tuesday. Your post should make mention of all 5 bills that you will be voting on, at least briefly. Claim credit where you can, and set the groundwork for legislation you may have to favor that they may not like. This should be a minimum of 1 paragraph. Your target audience is your constituents, but maybe you may also use this opportunity to send a message to your opposition. Whips, there may be some useful information in these posts to give you ideas about how to get your legislation over the finish line, (or prevent that from happening).
Students in Mrs. Ahrens' A.P. Government class will explore policy through interacting on this blog. Knowledge gained here will be the basis for activities during policy days on Fridays. Follow directions that change sometimes from week to week.

TUESDAY - HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BLOG
The voters have not
been happy with Congress of late, so both the House and the Senate have begun
to blog daily to a public blog to increase transparency in the institution.
Consider that while only House members are allowed to publish to the
blog, it does have a healthy readership from across the country.
Monday and Tuesday's session involved the assignment of committees, leadership positions, referral of some bills, and some general intra - party strategizing. What is your take on today's session, considering your demographics, your goals, and cross-pressures?
